Dr. Talal Munasifi has been listed in Washingtonian Magazine's Top Doctors List since 1997 and featured in the 1997, 1998 and 2006 issues. A graduate of the University Of Baghdad School Of Medicine, he served his Surgical Residency at the University of Miami, Miami, Florida before being named Chief Resident in Surgery. In 1980 he completed his Residency in Plastic Surgery at Georgetown University Hospital in Washington, D.C. where he served as Chief Resident in Plastic Surgery until 1981. In 1983, Dr. Munasifi was named Chief of Plastic Surgery at AMI Doctors Hospital in Lanham, Maryland and concurrently served as Plastic Surgery Consultant at Loudon Memorial Hospital in Leesburg, Virginia.
A highly respected lecturer, Dr. Munasifi has spoken before prestigious audiences, including overseas lectures and surgical demonstrations. Dr. Munasifi is Board Certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery and holds memberships in the American Society of Plastic Surgeons, Arlington County Medical Society, Medical Society of Virginia, National Capitol Society of Plastic Surgeons and the Virginia Society of Plastic Surgeons. He is also Assistant Clinical Professor of Plastic Surgery at Georgetown University School of Medicine, Washington, D.C.
