Dr. Erica Anderson is board-certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery and a member of the American Society of Plastic Surgeons.
A native of Annapolis, MD, Dr. Anderson earned a Bachelor of Science from the University of Michigan. While in Ann Arbor, she represented the Wolverines as a member of the university's lacrosse team. She attended medical school at Georgetown University, and was voted president of her medical school class all four years. She received her training in General and Plastic Surgery at the University of Colorado and completed a fellowship in aesthetic and breast surgery in Birmingham, AL with James C. Grotting, MD.
Prior to joining Advanced Plastic Surgery Center, Dr. Anderson held professorships at the University of Colorado Health Sciences Center in Denver, CO and, most recently, at Emory University in Atlanta, GA. She has been in practice over 5 years. Her clinical interests include aesthetic breast surgery, breast reconstruction, and body contouring. Dr. Anderson has published and presented extensively on the topics of cosmetic and reconstructive surgery.
Dr. Anderson's attention to detail and emphasis on patient care has earned her the respect of her patients and colleagues. She is happily married with a two year old son and enjoys sharing a variety of outdoor activities with her family and their two vizslas, Max and Mimi.
